I have ubuntu 13.04 and it gives me ~ 2hr 30mins of battery backup (from full charge) . in windows i get 3hr+ easily

sudo ubuntu-amd-catalyst-install

after this . everything is perfect !!!

i have already installed an additional driver FGLRX.

i have an hp pavillion dv7 , i5 processor and radeon 5 series graphics card .

i installed Xubuntu 12.04 and its working perfectly. But the thing is, the temp stays ~65c . Is it normal ?
