    I apologize if this has been asked, I had no luck searching it out. Is there any reason I should not store shell scripts in the /usr/local/bin folder? Would an upgrade to Ubuntu at a later date...

    The default setting is to exclude hidden files and folders, but by using links to this data, I'm able to backup Evolution, Tomboy, or whatever, and leave the default...
