Hmmm, it's not so much the back up of personal files (there aren't any really, as it's just a web server), it's more the config of PHP, MySQL and the LAMP apps I run on there... :(
Hello :)
I'm running 64bit hardy on an AMD powered 64bit laptop. It's running as a websever, but at 2GHz and 2GB of RAM it's overkill, and I need to use the laptop for something else. Which means...

Since I set up my Radeon 2950 video card, my mouse has gone wierd. A single click on the mouse behaves like a double click, making it impossible to browse the desktop.
What the heck is going on?!
Hello garethsimpsonuk!
Did you ever buy a SATA card for your linux box? I'm also running Hardy, and looking at one of these VIA VT6421A ebay cards so that I can add a 1TB disk.
Would really...
I see that ubuntu comes with sbackup, which ticks all the boxes for my requirements, except one. I wish to run two different backup schedules.
I use an n3200 NAS for all my important data (docs,...
fixed it. Doh! I hadn't set "allow access from all" in proxy.conf
OK, I'm new to Linux and Ubuntu, but perhaps this isn;t a beginners question...
