  1. [all variants] Re: [xsetwacom] seems to map keys but actually does nothing

Oh ok I thought you were talking about driver modes. I tried both of those and the same happens. I guess I can work around it for now, since when I actually have the pen on the pad it snaps right...
  2. [all variants] Re: [xsetwacom] seems to map keys but actually does nothing

Oh sorry. I'm unsure how to change that - can you give me the short version?
  3. [all variants] Re: [xsetwacom] seems to map keys but actually does nothing

If I am drawing a line in gimp while I press a button the line goes straight off the canvas (to the upper left corner)... I only have one mode. I'm confused as to what would start causing this now. ...
  4. [all variants] Re: [xsetwacom] seems to map keys but actually does nothing

    tail -f -n 0 /var/log/Xorg.0.log > /tmp/wacom

I just pressed one button, which was mapped to the x key (which did appear onscreen, and my mouse did snap as before).

    matthew@POGO:~$ xsetwacom -V

I manually compiled xsetwacom, I don't think it's available for install in natty.

I was able to get all the buttons working. The radial was button 1, the...

Do you at least know the brand of your card? Also, are you running on a desktop or laptop?
  9. [all variants] [xsetwacom] seems to map keys but actually does nothing

Running 11.04 with an Intuos4 medium.

This used to work in 10.10 and previous. When I run that command, it works fine, however, it actually does nothing. When I try to use the button, it still...

    [ubuntu] Re: Quiet upgrade

    Hi PhilW,

I think that is just about the normal update process, I'm talking about a distro upgrade.
  12. [all variants] Re: HOW TO: Install a LinuxWacom Kernel Driver for Tablet PC's

So just wondering... any indication as to when wacomcpl will be in 10.04? Mine works fine, but no buttons/oleds is annoying.

Poll: [all variants] Re: Poll: 9.10 --> 10.04. How will you updgrade?

I usually go for alternating between update-manager and clean install. I did a clean of 9.10 on my server and laptop, so I went through update-manager for 10.04. Both of them worked great.

[SOLVED] Re: Upgrade from 32 bit to 64 bit

    Wait, you couldn't run 10.04x64 on 9.10x86 with vbox? ATM I'm running WinXPx64 on 10.04x86... I just don't have multi-processor core support.

  17. [SOLVED] Re: What directory do people usually put programs in?

Question 1: different folders, but "you" don't really decide, the system takes care of that. Often they will be in /bin, /usr/bin, etc. If you're curious about a specific...

    [ubuntu] 9.10 upgrade mountall terminated

    Hi,

I recently upgraded to 9.10, and have reason to believe it was an uncomplete upgrade. Upon boot, I first for an error with sreadahead, which I fixed by changing /etc/conf/sreadahead.conf to...
