i got major problems with mencoder.

I work like this.

1.) Demux Audio.
2.) 2 Passes Encode. The second Encode includes the Audio.

And there i got the problem:

Well, how to find out, if somebody copied a file ? I thought the access time would be changed then. Not talking about "modification" date.

Well i tried Hard Server, Lucid Server and Lucid Server Alt.
It doesn´t seems to find the system without the flag on Hardy.

But why does the boot flag won´t change ?

i got a tiny problem. How to change the Boot Flag within the installer for RAID partitions to "on". I tried nearly any key, it didn´t seems to work.

3x 2TB with RAID 5 is the idea.

Yes, i do. But it does not seem to use all 4 cores. At best 2.

And this "Too many audio packets in the buffer" issue. Dunno why that is no problem with the old player, but the new one.

Hmm.. mencoder is still using only one core. So what todo now ?

Too many audio packets in the buffer: (4097 in 1523941 bytes).
Maybe you are playing a non-interleaved...

I tried it all. I just got the problem with hardy, that it seems, that x264 cannot be found.

Checking for x264 ... no (in libavcodec: no)
