Try THIS if you have a Galaxy Nexus.
I wrote this a couple of days ago and it's working great for me and some other's who have tried it.
I just got my Galaxy Nexus from Verizon and tackled this right away. There was a post on OMG! Ubuntu! providing a rather lengthy guide on connecting your Galaxy Nexus to Ubuntu. And when it's all...
You are right. Thank you for pointing that out. I updated the download file with this correction.

I wrote some scripts to set up an easy right-click mount/unmount of the Galaxy Nexus in Ubuntu 11.10's launcher. I also wrote a script which sets everything up...
So you jailbroke your iOS device and want to browse the iPhone's root filesystem. Well, with Ubuntu, you're in luck. After using this guide, you'll be able to browse your iPhone's filesystem in...
Very nice! Thank you! Will this work for both 32bit and 64bit?
No problem. Hope it helps! It drove me nuts enough to figure this out. It's just funny that all you have to change is one single character in code. It makes me wonder why this isn't something...
OK, so I'm no Linux developer or even an expert of Linux, but I like to tinker and hack. Since upgrading to 11.10, I've been frustrated with new location of the back and forward buttons. It just...
Ok, so I don't exactly know why this worked for me, but now I have dual monitor with my HD5570 working properly with Unity. Here's a screenshot to show it working:

This doesn't help us with dual monitor support at all. If we only had one monitor, it would work great.
I am having the same problem with my HD5570. I can get dual display working, but then I loose all my transparencies and have bad lag. What I did was:
From terminal, enter the following:

I posted this in another thread as well. I also had this problem in 10.10 x64, but it only started today when I did updates. I noticed that there was a nvidia-current-modaliases package updated, but...

I can confirm that the issue still exists in 10.10. It actually prevents my machine from rebooting successfully, causing a hang in the BIOS when the machine restarts. On shutdown, it hangs as well....
Don't feel bad, I have AMD/ATI combo on my workstation at work. It's an HP Pavilion Elite with blu-ray and it fails miserably. When Ubuntu boots, all power is cut completely to the blu-ray drive. ...
Same HP Elite, same exact problem. Very annoying. I managed to install 10.10 x64 using a USB flash drive, but when Ubuntu boots to the desktop, the blu-ray drive isn't detected and won't even power...
