My dual Linux PC (Lubuntu and Ubuntu) is back to normal. Earlier today I tried running Ubuntu and it gave me Lubuntu. I upgraded 4 selections for boot loader....

I upgraded Ubuntu 12.04 LTS again this morning as I regular do. I have a dual system on this PC. Or had until Ubuntu upgraded this morning and wiped out my Lubuntu 12.04, which is what I used most...
And, don't believe the Wubi Wiki, which states, "Upgrading from 8.04 to 8.10 will be fully supported."

Operative word is "try", just don't upgrade even when prompted to do so or be prepared to start over again and again and again
Yep. Then I fially gave up trying to get the upgrade to work. I downloaded wubi-8.0.4. Of course, the install wipes anything previously done, files, configurations, other programs, etc.
I figure...
