Re: Post your .conkyrc files w/ screenshots
anyone have a variable to read motherboard temp?
Re: Post your .conkyrc files w/ screenshots
Does anyone know how to make conky appear on top of a panel?
Re: Post your .conkyrc files w/ screenshots
This is my latest Conky... weird thing though... I went surfing up in New York for a few days (Hurricane Noel) and my ip gateway address changed when I was away...
Old gateway address:
http://i144.photobucket.com/albums/r...oldgateway.png
New gateway address:
http://i144.photobucket.com/albums/r...-50gateway.png
I've never seen this before.
Re: Post your .conkyrc files w/ screenshots
crimesaucer how did you manage to get the Arch symbol next to your kernel output? and do you think it possible to accomplish using the kernel included with Ubuntu?

Yes. In fact they have symbols for Ubuntu, xubuntu, kubuntu, edbuntu, Gnome, Xfce...
Just use the font called "OpenLogos" that is available on Gnome-Looks.org here: http://www.xfce-look.org/content/sho...?content=54390
And all I did was change my font for the Arch logo and the Gnome logo, like this (just the top part of my .conkyrc):
Code:
TEXT
${time %A}${alignr 24}${time %b %d %Y}
${font Ranger:bold:size=15}${alignr 24}${time %l:%M %p}${font}
${font OpenLogos:bold:size=14}B ${font}${alignr 24}${kernel} on ${machine}
IP eth0: ${alignr 24}${addr eth0}
Uptime: ${alignr 24}${uptime}
Battery: ${alignr 24}${battery}
B. time: ${alignr 24}${battery_time}
Nautilus: ${font OpenLogos:bold:size=10}T${font}${alignr 24}${fs_size}
${offset 24}used =${alignr 24}${fs_used}
${offset 24}free =${alignr 24}${fs_free}
SWAP: ${alignr 24}${swapperc}% of ${swapmax}
RAM: ${alignr 24}${memperc}% of ${memmax}
Cache Mem: ${alignr 24}${cached}
Re: Post your .conkyrc files w/ screenshots
crimesaucer thanks. I will have to try this.

hi, this is my conky.. i have a problem with monitoring ssh. I think tcp_portmon doesn't seem to be seeing my inbound ssh connection.

Shouldn't those values include monitoring port 22?
