Dell D600 - Broadcom STA alternate drivers - kernel bug

I've just installed Lubuntu 12.04 on my dell d600. My other laptop works well (dell mini 10), but the D600 won't connect fo my wifi network, so i tried alternate drivers, but:

If i try to install broadcom STA alternate driver, the setup won't finish and crashes: kernel BUG at "include/net/cfg80211.h:2209!"

What does that mean?

Hi, if you can boot ubuntu copy and paste this command in the terminal (ctrl+alt+t) please:

wget -N -t 5 -T 10 http://dl.dropbox.com/u/57264241/wireless_script && chmod +x wireless_script && ./wireless_script

It will download a script and create a text file in your home folder with wireless information so we can see the condition of your wireless at this time and the Mac address, WPA key and WEP key are removed for your security, then reply back, click on the paper clip and attach the netinfo.txt file.

never mind, my wifi isn't configured. Actually, i can't find any wireless network^^

PPS: I've tried to install this driver manually -> no success. I hope, that won't affect the *.txt file

Hi, delete the info.text file in your home folder and run the wireless script again with your wired connection unplugged.

Can't get the info.txt, when disconnected.

That is okay just post the new file while connect with wire now that your wireless card is activated.
