WoW!
They finally fixed the lower (notification) panel. That thing had more issues than a New York magazine stand.
Before, for instance, it would notify me that I had (say) 13 messages, but as soon as I moused over the message notification, it disappeared. Now, it's clickable, e.g. the panel actually pops up.
Heh! They're getting there...
Has anyone succeded in upgrading the shell to version 3.9.90?
I'm using both gnome3 and gnome3-staging ppas and all I see after a reboot is the new wallpaper, but without even getting to GDM.
I can't get, too.
Seemed libgnome-desktop3, gnome-settings-daemon, and gnome-control-center were still in progress to do patchworks? If I rollbacked those packages to around 3.9.5, I could kick gnome-shell normally though...
But older gnome-control-center can't be worked yet with gnome-shell 3.9.90 series.
