link for the mainline rc6 please . I tried to pull it up with the link in another thread and it won't come up with that one .
All builds (scroll to the bottom):

rc6:

thanks .
No problems for me at all, but my CPU is pretty old. Just a single-core Athlon 64, but I am using the 64-bit kernel.
FYI, haven't been able to update for several days due to being under the weather and not able to get to my Raring machine, so this is current info as of last Saturday.
I tried the rc6 yesterday, and I do have the amd-microcode installed, and still no joy. :(
I should also add that I can't boot the daily live iso either.
I just did a full upgrade to raring from quantal on my:

ventrical@ubuntu:~$ sudo apt-get update
All is well but there is some scrambly screen just before plymouth. The white-stripe Unity panel boot is gone and menu tabs on windows are seamless on this ATI radeon-express1250.

installed rc6 , wouldn't boot , added amd 64 microcode still stopping during boot just after attaching my disks , the kernel seems to be alive since I can alt>sysreq>b to reboot and don't need to hard reset , whatever happens right after the disks are attached seems to be the problem . It is the same with the other 3.7 kernels , 3.5 still boots ok .
Same odd naming on an i5, so it's not AMD-specific:
