I've been using Ubuntu since version 8.x
With 12.04 there were some trivial issues that bugged me. They seem to have disappeared with 12.10
(The main issue was not shutting down properly from time to time).
I use the computer for office stuff, internet use and media playback.
Overall in my opinion, this is the best version I've tried. I like unity, the setup is rock solid. Love it.
