Sony Vaio Netbook VPCYB15AG
I recently installed Ubuntu 11.04 variant LinuxMint 11 on my new sony vaio VPCYB15AG. Its got a AMD APU unit with a 12" screen.
I prefer Linux mint 11 because i dont like Unity or Gnome 2 bar look on desktop and like Mint's spin on it.
review:
Std stuff like mouse pad, keyboard, speakers, display, camera, wi-fi, LAN etc worked out of the box. All functions buttons like brightness, volume, Home, End, Page Up/down etc seem to be working fine.
[update] SD card reader, VGA also working fine.
I have not yet found anything that does not work actually, although its been only 2 days.
I am welcome to any queries from potential buyers of this netbook.

Color, starting asking price, country of origin?
Does it still have the Windows License attached or was that removed?
Re: Sony Vaio Netbook VPCYB15AG
sorry, fr late reply. its pinkish red, bought in India for Rs 25000, roughly equal to US$ 550. After 4 weeks of use, find it really no problem at all.
It had windows 7 starter preinstalled, but it ran pathetically slow. win7 is really not for low spec machines, IMO
Re: Sony Vaio Netbook VPCYB15AG
Update: I updated the Sony Vaio Netbook VPCYB15AG to Ubuntu 12.10 and everything just works fine. I am taking a liking to the unity interface as well. I was a sceptic before but it looks and works better I think.
