Transferring Files From HDD to Kubuntu
Hello,
I recently had Windows 7 on my computer. Somewhere in the dual-boot (between Win and Kubuntu) I messed up and accidently deleted Windows. I was wondering if i could transfer some of my old files to Kubuntu in "Try" mode. Then install Kubuntu as my only OS.
Re: Transferring Files From HDD to Kubuntu
You can access files on the hard disk when using Ubuntu/Kubuntu in a live session. If it is a USB memory stick then you should be able to save the files on the USB stick but test it out first. An alternative that I have used when running UBuntu from a Cd is to create another partition and copy the files into that and them copy them again when you have install Kubuntu.
Regards.

Thank you, I'm not even sure that the files are still there because I'm not sure what exactly I did except that Windows is gone.
If you have any Installation experience please attempt to help me with:
