Dual boot problems
Ok, the problem lies within windows not Linux. I somehow managed to delete my boot configuration data... Don't ask how because I'm not sure myself. Anyways my question is, is there a way to access my system restore from my windows files from a live cd of Ubuntu? I need to set it back to a date before the BCD got deleted. So is there a way to do this?

Re: Dual boot problems
Hi chickman1995.
If you have the Windows CD/DVDs that came with your Computer (or you have the recovery ones you created), you can recover your MBR partition.
Boot into the CDs and select 'Recovery tools' (here's an example: Restore Windows 7 MBR).
Just a thought.
Regards.
