Any idea how to get it compile with --enable-ffmpeg?
It says:
So I guess I'm missing something.Code:checking ffmpeg/avformat.h usability... no
checking ffmpeg/avformat.h presence... no
checking for ffmpeg/avformat.h... no
wow, that's so cool 8) that was the first program i ever wrote, and i haven't really advanced much since :( maybe nowadays i'd add an ; at the end of line 10 to make the whole screen fill up lol
i'm going to try it out thanks :lolflag:
No guarantees, but I'm thinking maybe there are ffmpeg development packages that you'll need to install before you compile it for ffmpeg support. Strangely enough, the package search page isn't much help this time.
There's no ffmpeg-dev package in the repos, I guess I have compile it too.
The Vice page links to this one for Linux ffmpeg support.

I'm in uncharted territory with that one, though. Let us know how it goes.
Has anyone managed to get this working in Edgy?
K.Mandla I know changed your post to say it works in Edgy but every time I do the "make" my machine completey locks up!
Has anyone got a deb file they could share? I would much apreciated it.
Thanks.
Luke
Yup, works great in Edgy. Or did you mean Feisty?
Hi,
I can not compile it, mu machine locks up. If I remember rightly i strugled under dapper as well. I stupidly did not keep the deb file. Could someone please post one?
Thanks
Luke
You can set the emulator window to double size, which is approx (as I recall) the size of a C64 screen.
