Folderview Widget or Screenlet for XFCE?
A "KDE Style" folderview widget for XFCE (no compiz). Anyone know of such a thing?

I think Directory Menu is about as close as Xfce gets to that.

There is the folderview screenlet (http://gnome-look.org/content/show.p...content=102890). It requires screenlets to run.
Haven't tried it myself so I can't confirm if/how it works, but it might be worth a shot.

Install Cairo-Dock. You'll get one or more docks which you can keep as simple or as complicated as you want. A common use it to remove the bottom Xfce panel and replace it with a similar CD dock.
Many applets can be detached from the dock and become desklets. The Folders applet, once detached, becomes a desktop folder view.
Cheers!

Thanks! I didn't realize Cairo had this widget. I'm just toying around with it on my own laptop and it will be perfect.
Thread solved.
