Sort non-standard characters at top of file lists
Whether using a file manager like Nautilus or at the command line, Ubuntu's behavior seems to be to to list directories with non-standard characters (underscore, plus sign, etc.) like, for example, "_temp" in with the T's.
Is there a way that I can sort directories as Windows does, such that directories that begin with characters like "_" or "+" appear at the top/bottom of the list when sorted?
I'd like to be able to name directories things like _temp so that they would appear at the top of a list of directories for visual separation.
Thanks for any help!
