Ok. The LiveCD I uploaded now MIGHT fix the driver issues, and allow Nouveau, but the build still failed on a software package, because I think they made a change in the git repo... So the interface that runs in the Wayland server will not appear.
I also figured out how to build the xserver that acts as a Wayland program, but it's not in this one because I did it while it was building so after it builds I'll upload that. Hopefully if it works, in the morning of EST. The build process of it downloading and installing the packages takes 2 hours or so, and it's getting late here.
Whats up ?
D/L latest dvd and I get error: 1000 ???
Oh well maybe next one before I run out of plastic :P
What gave an error? was it the boot, or the burn or something else.
And if you are short on CD's, please do wait at least for the next image, because it's going to have xwayland on it to allow it to use Wayland to display X apps. I think I figured out how to build it, which if it works on your hardware, would be cooler.
I burned two, the first one was with brasero and it said cant find kernel and gave me Boot: prompt.
The second one I used k3b and it booted for awhile then came up with Error 1000, I dont remember what all the text was before that, do you want me to run it again and see if I can get more info ?
Just tried it again, RBL screen ran for 15 mins then went to terminal mode and said kernel PANIC !
And Caps & Scroll lock blinks.
So....now what, jump out and make a left turn :P
Was looking at some interesting stuff here about wayland, but its over my head

Whats up with RBL ?
Did you go on vacation ? :P
No.. I'm trying to compile more toolkits or things that actually run on Wayland, but so far the xserver that runs within wayland glitches out.
I might try clutter and EFL, which was just mentioned on Phoronix, and GTK+ and QT are running now on a test chroot.
Then I need to work on the themes and backgrounds more, and find photos that can be put on a GPLed CD
EDIT: GTK just built!
