DVD-shrink can read and write ISO images of DVDs, but is aimed at the sort you play in DVD players.
What kind of disk?

(K3b is on there, worth checking out if you like it on Linux)
K3B on win32???
I use it on ubuntu but is there a win32 version? I had a look at that site.
More interested in the ripping side at this point including CDs.
I looked at http://cdburnerxp.se/ It needs some 60 meg .net add on that I'll try downloading off peak or the isp will shape us.
Would be a lot easyer if the owner of this machine just ditched windows:lolflag: but that aint going to happen:confused:
have a look at deepburner, there's a free version, and a portable version:

InfraRecorder is a good one. Also comes as portable app as part of portableApps. Great for using apps on windows machines if you don't use the same one all the time.

I use this to both burn and create ISO images in windows.
Freeware, stable, easy to use, reliable. About all you can ask.
WinISO is what I use
As said earlier Deepburner is brilliant, it's always worked for me, and it's Windows not Window$.
