usb gsm modem question
Hi,
I have installed Ubuntu 10.10 Desktop on my Dell XPS 1510 Laptop. I am trying to connect my HTC HD2 with it and use it as usb gsm modem. I am able to use the internet on Ubuntu provided by the mobile operator out of the box. I am expecting to see which device it has been connect to e.g. /dev/ttyUSBx or /dev/ttyACM0 or /dev/modem etc. but I can't see any of them.
The bit I am trying to do is to be able to make a call with software like wvdial or similar and use my mobile as gsm modem.
Can somebody please point me how would I know which device it is connected? and I'll be able to use it as usb gsm modem
Please let me know if I need to provide any further information. Thanks.
Regards,
Ghazni
