How to deal with RAW format images other than DNG?
I've been shooting RAW images with various digital cameras and trying to process them on Ubuntu.
So far, I've tried digiKam, RawTherapee, Darktable, and DNG converter. All of them deal with DNG RAW files properly, but none of them work properly with other RAW formats, such as RW2(Panasonic) and ARW(Sony). Ubuntu displays weird colors on RAW images in formats other than DNG. They look washed-out and inclined to purple tone (see the attached images. You will easily identify which is the one processed with Ubuntu and which is the one processed inside the camera).
How can I properly process RAW images other than DNG on Ubuntu?

Thanks shantiq.
I tried a newer Ubuntu version (13.04) and it worked. Also, I tried showfoto and found it's a good photo editing software.
Thank you for your information.
