After a clean install of 8.10 I am getting little lines at the top of my monitor (screenshot attached). I am running the 2.6.27-14-generic kernel with 2.5Gig ram on a AMD Athlon64 3800+.
I have a GeForce FX 5200 graphics card and have installed the drivers through the hardware manager as well as through Envy. The lines do not show up all the time and can disappear and reappear with consecutive logins.
My monitor is a Acer AL2216W (about a year old).
