game like NFS but for Ubuntu (kubuntu)

Hi all,

please advise me some game like NFS but for Ubuntu (kubuntu).

Moved to Gaming & Leisure.

What is "NFS"? Need for Speed?

Racing is lacking on Linux... IMO if EA really cared about its linux endeavour, they would port one of their recent NFS titles...

You can run some NFS game in WINE, but there is nothing that runs native.

there are games like vdrift and similar racing games using that engine. actually they don't look so bad.

there is also TORCS.

if you are into just some fun racing then latest supertuxcart (0.8) is good. grpahics mightnot be somehting ultra, but they do the job and it's fun.

However currently you need a quite beefy system to run it.

That game it looking nice :D, gonna give it a shot sometime, videos i have just seen, seem to suggest the vehicles have over sensitive inertia though.

Last version i tried would crash before i ever got to the track, everytime..
