but problem is that the bit rate is too low, in windows it was around 140 Mb/s....
currently ... its on a/g mode only, but n mode is not working , how do i get n mode to work?
can someone help?

Re: (DWA-140) RT2870 Wireless problem
I am having a similar problem with a DWA-160. I am only connected in G mode. I too would appreciate any assistance. I have looked at similar posts, but nothing has helped.
Re: (DWA-140) RT2870 Wireless problem
hello there,
not trying to hijack thread, Just adding asI am also failing to achieve N speeds ( Win 7 achieves 300 Mbp/s with exact router settings and DWA 140 revB1 adapter on a win XP laptop)
code:
wlan0 RTxx70 Wireless ESSID:"Semaj" Nickname:"RT3070STA"
Mode:Managed Frequency=2.437 GHz Access Point: 00:1D:73:8F:8E:FF
Bit Rate=54 Mb/s
RTS thr: off Fragment thr: off
Link Quality=82/100 Signal level:-58 dBm Noise level:-71 dBm
Rx invalid nwid:0 Rx invalid crypt:0 Rx invalid frag:0
Tx excessive retries:0 Invalid misc:0 Missed beacon:0
Apparently I'am using the RT3070STA driver which is why I'm posting here as it doesn't seam to be the driver as the only issue,
