Can no longer print .svg files.

I can no longer print .svg files to my printer. I used to be able to in 12.04. I'm running 12.10 now.

I get no errors. The printer indicates no errors, just nothing ever prints.

Printing a simple text document still works from Leafpad.

Any ideas?

Perhaps try installing Inkscape and test svg print from there?

Exactly how I have been trying.

Printing a pdf file is also troublesome. I can print one, one page pdf document. I then try to print a second copy of the very same document and all I get is random text garbage printed out. My only solution is to cancel the print job, turn the printer off and on again and then I can print the second copy successfully.
