How to mark threads 'Solved'?

Used to be there was an option under "Thread tools" by which you could mark your thread/problem [SOLVED]. But since this recent re-jig, I can't find it.

I add a tag saying "solved" when my problem has been cured. But what about the proper old [SOLVED] thing?

But I am still dissatisfied. Why do we have to do all this post editing? Thread tools was simple, this workaround is more complex and I bet more and more people willnot bother going through it. Marking a thread as [SOLVED] should be easy as poss. Admins, hang your heads in shame!
