Intrepid freezes when changing windows

I would normally just wait it out, but this issue is causing me no end of trouble. For instance, I am learning C++, and had to start over 6 times due to freezes. And something tell me this is going to be a complicated fix. So, any help will be greatly appreciated.

Hi and this is the Unanswered Posts Team forums for team discussion not for support. Since you have posted the same info in your thread already it would not help for me to move this post there. I would suggest you bumping your thread in ABT with more info on what you have tried to correct the issue. Thanks

Sorry, my mistake. I thought there was a place to post unanswered posts, and that this was it. I can't add to my post with what I have tried, because I don't have a clue as to what might be causing. I guess I will research this outside of the forums. I need to find an answer, because I am tired of freezing every 45 minutes. Again, sorry to have mis-posted.
