Memory requirements for running an OpenIndiana virtual machine in any distro,?
What are the memory requirements for running an OpenIndiana virtual machine? This is for running it on ANY distro.
And if you ask why I wanna run OpenIndiana in Virtualbox, it's simply to just play with it a little.

So a minimum of 512MB for the VM plus memory for your host OS.

So the specs I'm aiming for on my first real PC build, Phenom II X2 CPU, 6GB of RAM, and the GNOME spin of Fedora, should be fine.
