GTA: Vice City No Problems!
Sweet. It works just fine and is comparable to my install on Windows, but no glitches.
Ohhh yeah!
Wine 0.9.47 is the package. :)
Re: GTA: Vice City No Problems!
Good to hear. I haven't tried GTA:VC in Wine recently, but in the past it always had issues with wierd reflections on the cars and way out of synch sound. If those problems are gone, I may just have to give it a try again.
Re: GTA: Vice City No Problems!
Yeah, with the Wine Windows Emulator in the newest version, it runs fine. I haven't had any problems with any glitches yet. The only glitches are on the splash screen, and it's only monochrome, then it switches back to full color.

Nice!
Re: GTA: Vice City No Problems!
I am currently re-installing UT2004 with it. Maybe it will work. Last build it worked, but it only had 90 degree movement. It ran fast and all, but I gave up on it.

This along with DVD's and that I can access my school's site and do my work has increased my respect for Ubuntu twice over.

Despite the fact that UT2004 has a native binary for Linux? The original disks have an installer on the disk and the newer compilation CDs have an install method that should work (do a search).

I wasn't going to mention that, but since you brought it up...

Unreal Tournament 2004 runs natively on Linux.
The installer should be on the cd, if it isnt, just google it.
