Bluetooth driver stack issue?
I was running Ubuntu 10.04 on my laptop and used bluetooth a lot to connect my Samsung Galaxy S II mobile to the laptop.
I have recently installed Ubuntu 12.04. However, even though I have successfully paired my phone to the laptop via bluetooth, I can only send files to the phone from my laptop and cannot send files from my mobile to the laptop.
I have confirmed using another laptop with bluetooth, that I can both send and receive files using my phone. This should eliminate the phone being the issue.
A friend suggested to me that the problem could be the bluetooth driver stack in Ubuntu. I am still a relatively new user of Ubuntu and have no idead how to investigate or troubleshoot. Can anyone offer some assistance or a solution? Thanks.
