We just entered the top 2000! Congratulations everyone...
And to everyone else... come join us, it's a good cause and promotes Ubuntu!
I'd like to help but it appears that it is not supported on amd64. Why that is, I have no idea, since it should be faster.
You can run it on AMD64, you just won't run as fast as if it were a P4. They're working on it. The new releases will have optimizations for all CPUs.
Any processor helps, even if it isn't running optimally
Merry Christmas Team Ubuntu! Production is way up on just a few weeks ago.. well done everybody!
probably because i dont believe in aliens/extra terrestrials/etc...Quote:

I thought I was kicking ass until I saw you on the board. How many cores do you have running? What's your setup?
By the way, we're on track to pass 20 teams today, moving from 1,875 to 1,854. Rock on TeamUbuntu!
By the way, team banter keeps us fresh in the forums and brings more people to the team, so keep up the trash talk.
:p heheQuote:

My desktop is a P IV 3 Gig (Ubuntu) which is by no means slow. Other machines are only part-time but altogether I am running 7 clients - at the moment ;)
What about the rest of you?
