What sort of Music lets you concentrate better?
Everyone has their own type of music that calms them down and allows them to concentrate. (Mine would probably be Heavy Metal)
So what music do you guys listen to to help yourself concentrate better?
I only added some of the more popular genres to the poll. If there is one that you listen to that isn't included, please specify in the thread. :)

Personally, and scientifically, Classical Orchestrations. But I also like Chiptunes and music produced by the SEGA Genesis Sound Card.
Re: What sort of Music lets you concentrate better?
Why no POP or good ole rock n roll?

Metal for some weird reason. For some reason stuff like this does it http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6KtF7ql3FJc

Pop and Rock and Roll come under Electro and Metal respectively. Sorry for not saying so to begin with.

So Elvis is to be considered Metal?
But anyway, I listen to classic rock.

Ambient.
Unless I'm reading Nietzsche, then I need Viking Metal.

The quieter the better when I'm trying to relax and think clearly.

something I do not have to CONCENTRATE on. New Age works for me. Being a sound engineer for years, I have the tendency to "take things apart" and listen to the individual contributions (and some of the current stuff with all of its pitch correction and the PRO TOOLS OVERUSE I find very irritating.) So, New Age is my choice.
