I was hoping you guys can help me figure out what drivers i need and how to install them. In my earlier post some people recommended that i install my nvidia GeForce 9400M drivers through the "additional drivers" program, but i dont think it worked because im putting 1280 x 800 resolution and i remember it being capable of much more. (also my DVI out inst working)
Please help me, and thanks for taking the time to read this

1280 x 800 is the native resolution for the unibody non-pro macbooks...So that part is ok. I hope the guys hers can help you get your DVI out working!
did you try this? under preferences>displays, hitting the detect displays button when you have your external monitor hooked up with DVI? (see screenshot)
