That's about time. More and more gaming companies/sites are finally realizing how big the Linux community is.
There have only been "support Linux on GOG" threads, here and on GOG.com, for about five years. It's way past about time.
well make it worthwhile for them. then others may follow.
This is good news :)
Doesn't surprise me. As with Steam, after support for Mac OS X was introduced, Linux soon followed.
I think for developers, the step from OS X to Linux isn't all that big, as opposed to the difference between Windows and OS X/Linux.
After all, Linux and OS X more or less share the same 'core'...
Been a Mac user for 15 years, and recently switched to Ubuntu, not because I wasn't happy with OS X anymore, just because I wanted something different.
In any case, this Gog announcement is very good news indeed. With Steam support, the Steam box and now Gog, the gaming future for Linux is looking peachy !
I am really happy to see this. It seems that support from Indies and things like the humble bundle really opened a lot of eyes. This is one of the reasons I like the Unity engine for their easy Linux deployment (Although I really wish they had the editor, but hey, something is better than nothing I suppose).
It was about time..
