[SOLVED]Can't install Chromium... apt-get fail...
Hi everyone, I am trying to install Chromium but when i do "sudo apt-get install Chromium" this is what i get.
Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree
Reading state information... Done
You might want to run 'apt-get -f install' to correct these:
The following packages have unmet dependencies:
chromium : Depends: libgcrypt11 (>= 1.5.1) but 1.5.0-3ubuntu1 is to be installed
Depends: libnspr4 (>= 2:4.9-2~) but 4.9.5-0ubuntu0.12.10.1 is to be installed
Depends: chromium-inspector but it is not going to be installed
libc6 : Breaks: locales (< 2.17)
libc6:i386 : Recommends: libc6-i686:i386
Breaks: locales (< 2.17)
E: Unmet dependencies. Try 'apt-get -f install' with no packages (or specify a solution).
So, I tried to do "sudo apt-get -f install" and this is what i get... I don't know what to do...

Correcting dependencies... Done

Welcome to the forums narutoxela2 !
Please try -
Code:

Re: Can't install Chromium... apt-get fail...
Which version of Ubuntu are you running, and why do you have a debian sid repository enabled?
Re: Can't install Chromium... apt-get fail...
I actually have linux mint 14, i figured out that its quite similar to ubuntu so... yeah... I have the sid repository on because i had a problem installing some programs a while back and i guess i enabled it while trying to fix stuff, can it cause troubles?...
Re: Can't install Chromium... apt-get fail...
Thread moved to Other OS/Distro Support.

Yes, it wouldn't surprise me if that's the cause of your current problem.
Re: Can't install Chromium... apt-get fail...
Thanks! I removed the sid repository and everything works!
