How can I speed up Ubuntu 10.4?
Ok well I installed Ubuntu on my computer(which is from like 2003) and it works amazing. It boots up in 10 seconds and its really easy to use.
My main question is though, is there any way to tweak it so it can even boot up faster? Or maybe process faster? I know this sounds dumb considering how fast it is, but im big on speed :)
Thanks!

To be honest, perhaps another variant would be faster on your machine. If you are able, try Lubuntu. It's still in Beta 3 (still 10.04), but I had few issues using it. It flies...so fast compared to most distros. It uses LXDE desktop environment, which uses fewer resources so your machine can utilize those resources for other tasks.
As far as tweaks to help your current config, hopefully others have better experience in that area and can assist.
