I sent you a PM to request that this thread be moved to the Programming section of the Forum, since you are a Forum Moderator. I probably should have posted a message here in the first place -- sorry for the mistake. Could you please take care of it?
Do you have any details about the vB3 to vB4 staging forum mentioned above?
thanks for acceptin my request was just addin some people thats been here some years as well instead of it bein empty after 5 years lol. have a good one!
thank you for the information. I also edited the pictures
I can't edit the first post of this thread anymore. Can you tell me what's wrong?
Did not want to bump a brilliant thread but would like to suggest stickying http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=2021534
as it has been for me very useful in deciphering https://help.ubuntu.com/community/UEFIBooting#UEFI
and once i work out how to use efibootmgr will have efi drive available to boot from one time boot menu (when bios set appropriately set at ahci) ... lol
Am sure as more people have the need or desire to go for efi on <1TB system very handy thread and thanks to op and you both for http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=2021534
Oops, wrong place for a PM.
Hi, you've been helping people a lot on some threads concerning dual boot issues. Here is my quick questions I couldn't find an answer:
If I have Windows on the HDD, can I have linux "/" on an SSD an a data partition on the HDD?
Does GRUB2 deal with that easily?
I saw you clearly saying- "I really do not know Macs" in this thread, yet I know nobody better than you to seek help from (srs5694 doesn't seem very frequent on the forums).
If possible, please take a look at this thread: http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1923546
The OP seems to have the same GPT/Hybrid MBR issue that you have commented on a few times.
I've asked him for boot info results, but am not sure how to proceed after that.
Thanks and Best regards
