Sounds cool we have looked at digital to analogue conversions and sampling rates etc , id say that was a lot of work alright. Im studying computer science in DIT, its a good course but theres some modules that I have skimmed thru without properly learning so il have to go back and re learn them at some stage. were doing java for phones now at the minute as well as computational maths etc , we have done a bit of linux stuff too like nfs samba dns and basic commands etc . we do a lot of software planning and human usability studies type stuff , as well as microprocessors and computer architecture , c , c++ , jsp, html , sql ect . its a pretty good course but I should have studied more , but iv a good enough idea for now i suppose. what did you code your project in ?

yea i haven't had a chance to add anything more to it yet i'll just have to wait till i have more time . you know yourself. Any luck with the internships ?

yea man i know what you mean im the same just finished one assignment and got another 2 and im expecting another one soon , that'll be 5 on the go at once, all the while im trying to see about a summer internship . I done an exam the other day for IBM but it could have went either way as I had a day to prepare and look over stuff from the previous years. I have to tailor my cv and send it on to them soon . Just out of curiosity what are you doing your final project on ?

thats cool man , i was just wondering if there was essentials i needed but il just add stuff as i go along i suppose. currently looking for a good panel , i read pypanel was taken from the lenny repos as its buggy (but its in the sid repos i think), so im thinking tint2 or something , dunno yet.

Hey Zoot Hows things ?, im setting up a minimal debian install in virtual box just to mess around with, any particular packages / essential packages I might need ?. i have xorg , iceweasel and openbox installed so far. . im off to bed now but il add more when i get time . How did you manage after the floods and all ?

yea were small in numbers but we make our presence count , yea i seen on the tv , thats mad!, sorry to hear that man!, i see your into making music , do you use software for it ? or just live instruments? , i use to use reason and fruity loops myself to make a few beats here and there. just haven't the time with college these days , you know yourself
