Hi Bob.

There is no need to thank me, I do what I do because of the help others (like yourself) have given me.

I have been using Karmic, on my laptop and new server, since the Beta Release and have not found a single problem. I installed it on my dad's laptop last weekend and he reports it is better then Jaunty was. I am going to do a totally clean install on my laptop sometime this weekend hopefully as I also want to help more with the development of Lucid so I am going to have 2 / and 2 /home partitions to keep Karmic and Lucid totally separated except for in Grub. My main desktop which has all of my "must keep" material on it hasn't been upgraded yet and I may keep it on Jaunty until Lucid is fully released. I haven't made up my mind yet on that one.

I did notice this time around that the Karmic repos could be downloaded much earlier than previous releases, during the Beta stage actually. I have never been able to access them before until the final release was out.
