Please start a thread, so others can also contribute. Quick answer is yes. That is exactly what I have, but now do not boot old XP on a separate drive. All my data is on a third drive and I have two copies of Ubuntu in my 60GB SSD. Not a grub issue, but fstab and mounting of data partitions.
