My friend, I do hope you are ok and still can read this. If yes, please PM me your Email or anything that we could keep in touch
Could you please help to solve this thread:

Long time indeed, my good friend you always ask about me while it seems that I'm the bad friend here who doesn't say hi often but I'm SO busy with Real Life and above all, so busy with Lubuntu Communication Team. I'm no longer just a forum Lubuntu member, I have many other stuff to do which is fun but not easy at all and keep me far away from the best place that I adore, that is Ubuntu Forum. I miss being here and I do login daily but no new HOWTOs, and stuff like that.
Hope all is ok with you
Take care and thanks for passing by
anewguy - Ubuntu membership is based on contributions to the forums and applications are reviewed by the entire staff. The final decision is made by FC. We have a large community from people new to Linux to kernel hackers and everything in between. We ask people to contribute to the best of their abilities.
For example, I am not a new user, so between compiling kernels for my GMA500 I forget how it feels to be overwhelmed by bash.
We need people of all abilities to contribute to the community. I think I speak for the entire community when I say your efforts are greatly appreciated.
I'm probably showing my age, but it reminds me of Bill the Cat from the old newspaper cartoon (Bloom County??? perhaps??). I added the DOG! after remembering the scene from "UP" where the dog and the guy are "talking" and right in the middle of it the dog turns its head sideways and yells "SQUIRREL!!". My spelling is way off on that I'm sure!
Hi, why you didn't post on my board? never mind
I've been thinking about that for some time and I finally find out what is going on. Looks like (I'm not sure yet) it has nothing to do with what OS you use, in fact, it has to do with whether that system is 64bit or 32bit.
I play a game on facebook that needs Flash and I can't play it while I'm on my 32bit machine. It has 9 or more systems and NONE is able to run it smoothly. I checked the other day and tried to play the same game on Lubuntu 11.10 64bit on Lenovo G570 Core i5 2nd generation with 4GB RAM and ... guess what? it's even faster than when I run the same game on Windows.
I'm not really sure what is going on? what made it even more confusing, when I unplugged the power cable from the laptop, the game immediately became SO SLOW, just like when it's very slow on the 32bit machine.
I install the restricted extra package. I don't do anything else to get Flash to work.
Hi, I am very well thanks, same to you, hope all is well. Cheers
One question, amjjawad - does flash work any better in lubuntu? I'm tired of fighting it 11.10 with Unity. And any time I try to change to a different session type in 11.10 it just doesn't work - usually badly. I'm seriously thinking of trying lubuntu again - I had it for a while then back in 1 of the updates I decided to go back to "normal" ubuntu.
