Hi Cecil, I'm on the Arch forum, but don't visit it much. Probably spend more time on G+ in the Arclhinux community.

Arch is the bomb. I installed Unity on it for the heck of it yesterday. A little fun.

I watched a video - think it was QT5 ....... and they appeared to have a version working across platforms ...... not sure If I still have it ...... will look now .........

Interesting they have removed it ...... it was sent on my gmail and is no longer there.

The demo is ........ but no one talking about it .....

They showed allsorts of fancy effects and explained them - if you look close at this demo there are some playing on the screens.

Will look out for more things ...... but wondering if its all tied into nokia and qt ........ not sure but seems odd the video is not there anymore ........

I tried to reply to you some time back but it wouldn't let me. Hopefully I'll have better luck today.

I rarely visit ubuntuforums unless I'm lead here in pursuit of something google points me too. Still using Arch (Cinnarch actually) and still infatuated with gnome shell.

Most of my linux contributions are made on G+ or deviantART. I'm Charles Bowman on G+, and cbowman57 should find me on deviantART.

I have been doing other things recently ...... mainly to do with 3D as that was always my passion .

Glad to hear that Wayland is doing well .......

Looked at the gnatty thread ...... they closed it due to its age ..... over 1 year old and chuck had removed the distro - but was great while it lasted .

I tend to use KDE now and a Distro called Pear Linux ...... its still based on Ubuntu though.

The only other thing I do is small animations and photography .

Hope you are doing well and still getting out on the bike .
