I just changed my avatar yesterday to a wallpaper I found. Before it was Trent Reznor! Lol. I just like cats

I don't even know what the apple background looks like. I thought it was a purple aurora borealis kinda thing. I chose panther cause cats rock, and panthers rock the most! I've never owned or even used a Mac! Linux only! (some dabbling with other *nixes and Haiku, etc... though)

What language is your title thingy? Latin? It looks a lot like Spanish. Also, I'm a beginning artist, having only started drawing and the like about 2 years ago. Even so, I don't do it often but I plan on drawing a lot. How do you do art like you profile picture or Avatar? Do you have tips on stuff like the Gimp?
