I am about to attempt a Dobson build with my dad, first telescope build ever. lol
I think we are gonna go to 14".

Thanks for the link, trig. I just now got around to looking at the site. Looks very interesting, but there's a lifetime supply of things to do there. Do you work on or study anything there? I guess I'm hesitant to dive in because my experience reading wikibooks has been very mixed quality wise, and I know from experience how easy it is to get off on a tangent when you make learning web-dependent.
