Debating the pros and cons - they've got to protect a mod (quite rightly - I do the same on my site) and it's gonna be difficult to admit that there is a strong American {English} bias on the site. A subtle - not too loud - approach may be better. I am more interested in changing the attitudes of (not quite redknecks but tending that way) to accept that other cultures are valid even if they don't conform to USA mores.

Just checking on inappropriate language - if "screw you" (a fairly mild rebuke on UK bike sites) deserves goaling and an infraction - why does "mofo" ~(which - as far as I am aware - has only one meaning - "mother ****er") on 89 threads not get goaled and infracted?
Or "bugger" which appears in 250 threads.

Is this simply American parochialism?
