Cannot find thread that discusses it, but users can only edit threads for a certain period of time. Spammers start a thread that looks ok, then come back and edit it hoping to avoid the spam ban. So restrictions had to be added. Also please use the paperclip icon to upload screenshots, not paste into threads.
