  1. For the history, it should be. It has to be a certain option in the config because when I run a command twice in a row, it only shows up once in the history. The username in the prompt is configured by the PS1 line. For example it might look like PS1="[$PR_BLUE%n$PR_WHITE@$PR_GREEN%U%m%u$PR_NO_COLOR:$P R_RED%2c$PR_NO_COLOR]%(!.#.$) " Here is a good zshrc that I started off using http://stuff.mit.edu/~jdong/misc/zshrc
  2. Two zsh questions:Is it possible to make it so that if I run a command twice in a row, it will list it only once when I'm going back through the history. Second, how can I make it say the username like bash does?
  3. Awesome! Once you get a good zshrc you'll never want to go back
  4. Well, I'm going to try zsh, in part thanks to you.
