Is there a script or a command I can use to disable compiz while playing fullscreen UT2004 so I don't get stuck with two cursors (ingame and gnome) and then re-enable compiz when I quit the game?

I have compiz-switch installed, but where do I store the script or how do I implement it into the shortcut? I appreciate the response.

If you have it installed just type:
which compiz-switch to find it's location. Use that location to create a desktop launcher or use an "Alias" and type a command in a terminal.
UPDATE::.
If you used the installer, it should be in your menu list under "Accessories"
