Hello. I have been an Ubuntu user for over a year now, and I have to say the experience is great. The best thing about Linux is that if a problem occurs, there IS a way to fix it. I just reinstalled and upgraded to 8.10 (My 7.04 installation was starting to get bugged down with "fixes" i had made) and it went easily and quickly. My wireless card was supported, but the speed was very slow. I had previously used ndiswrapper to increase the speed by using a windows driver, so I tried that. I used ndisgtk and it told me that the device was present and the driver was installed. I can view networks, but I cannot connect to my network (which is WPA-Personal protected). The network was previously unsecured, so I think that the WPA is my problem. I have read about using wpa-supplicant but I'm not sure if those are outdated for ndiswrapper or not. Any suggestions?

I've got a Toshiba Satellite A205-S4617 with an Intel 4965 a/g/n wireless card.
